Take your game to the next level with Jr Vibe Elite Training, designed for experienced youth volleyball players looking for advanced, high-level instruction in a small-group setting.
Athletes will have the opportunity to train with Atlanta Vibe professional players and coaches, receiving focused instruction, individual feedback, and high-quality repetitions in a competitive training environment.
Elite Training opportunities may include position-specific and specialty clinics for setters, hitters, liberos/defensive specialists, serving, passing, attacking, blocking, and other advanced skills.
With limited group sizes, each athlete receives more personalized attention and the opportunity to learn directly from professionals who compete and coach at the highest level.
Jr Vibe Elite Training is intended for experienced players with a strong foundation in volleyball fundamentals. Space is limited to maintain a high-quality, small-group training experience.
Laura “Bird” Kuhn joined the Atlanta Vibe as General Manager and Assistant Coach in 2025 after two highly successful seasons as Head Coach of the Omaha Supernovas, where she posted a 37-15 record, won the league’s inaugural championship, and captured the 2025 regular-season title. A former standout player at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Kuhn helped lead the program to four NCAA Tournament appearances and its first Elite Eight. She also brings more than a decade of collegiate coaching experience, including serving as Head Coach at Texas A&M Aggies and helping guide Kansas Jayhawks Volleyball to its first Final Four appearance. Widely respected for her leadership and player development, Kuhn is one of the most accomplished coaches in the sport today.
Beau Lawler joined the Atlanta Vibe coaching staff for the 2026 season with experience across professional, collegiate, and national team volleyball. Most recently, he served as Player Development Coach for Athletes Unlimited, working with elite professional athletes. Lawler has coached at Nebraska, Ole Miss, Utah, Idaho State, and Blue Mountain Christian University, earning AVCA Northeast Region Assistant Coach of the Year honors in 2022. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the U.S. Deaf National Team and is widely recognized for his expertise in player development, scouting, and building high-level defensive systems.
Thiago de Souza Duarte joined the Atlanta Vibe staff in 2025 as an assistant coach, bringing extensive coaching experience and a passion for developing athletes. He has coached at both the collegiate and club levels and is known for his technical knowledge, player development, and commitment to helping athletes reach their potential.
Anita Anwusi joins the Atlanta Vibe after spending her first two professional seasons with LOVB Houston. A standout at LSU, Anita earned AVCA South All-Region Honorable Mention honors and finished her collegiate career ranked among LSU’s all-time top 10 in blocks, block assists and hitting percentage. She also represented USA Volleyball, winning gold at the 2018 NORCECA Junior Championship and competing with the 2023 USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team. A Houston native, Anita brings elite experience, athleticism and a passion for giving back to the community to Atlanta.
A former Georgia Tech standout, Gabby Benda brings 10 years of professional volleyball experience to the Atlanta Vibe. Her international career has taken her across Europe, Asia, Puerto Rico and the United States and includes championship seasons in Azerbaijan and Nepal. Benda returns to Atlanta for the 2027 season, bringing extensive professional experience and a strong connection to the local volleyball community.
Polish professional volleyball setter Karina Chmielewska joins the Atlanta Vibe for the 2027 season, bringing seven years of professional experience. A Polish Cup and Tauron Liga champion, she previously competed for KS DevelopRes Rzeszów in Poland, where she recorded 276 assists during her most recent season.
Courtney Jackson joins the Atlanta Vibe for the 2027 Major League Volleyball season after an outstanding collegiate career at the University of Arkansas. A standout defensive specialist, Jackson finished her Razorback career with 1,738 digs, ranking third in program history. She earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors, Second Team All-SEC recognition, and AVCA All-Central Region Honorable Mention honors during her collegiate career. Originally from Olathe, Kansas, Jackson brings exceptional defensive skills and high-level SEC experience to the Atlanta Vibe.
Aiko Jones is a professional volleyball player for the Atlanta Vibe and a former standout at the University of Louisville. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Jones helped lead Louisville to back-to-back NCAA Final Four appearances in 2021 and 2022, earning multiple All-ACC and AVCA All-Region honors. She made history as the first Jamaican-born player to sign with the Pro Volleyball Federation. In 2026, Jones was named Major League Volleyball's Most Inspirational Player and ranked among the league's top hitters. Known for her powerful attacking, leadership, and passion for mentoring young athletes, Jones brings an exciting combination of professional playing experience and coaching knowledge to Jr Vibe.
